Hiring ads can be pretty boring: a company logo, a job title, a short list of requirements and that's pretty much it.
But some companies have advertising ideas that go above and beyond to stand out and attract your application.

Gary's resume
âOffenders are significantly less likely to re-offend if they find a job. Though they often have the qualifications and the experience, 75% of employers admit to rejecting applicants with a criminal record within seconds. So we decided to get people to re-assess this prejudice. Using the familiar layout of CVs, we confronted them with the issue. Instead of featuring the usual qualifications and employment history, the CV is a stream of consciousness from an interviewer, who, on discovering a job candidate is an ex-offender, immediately rejects them.â

Only problem isnât what I want, but what the company wants â do they want to hire me ?
so its a silly question.
Itâs not just what the company wants, but I understand why you might feel that way.
If each company thought getting great candidates was so easy, they wouldnât bother making an expensive effort to get the attention of good candidates like you, such as with clever ad campaigns. As for job seekers, you can only apply to so many companies (and they know that), and you should be selective in applying to the least amount possible by doing research up front so that when you do apply, the company thinks youâre exactly who they need:
