When I announced this year's contest, I told you that more prizes might be coming. Here they are, and they're good…

3 new sponsors and their great prizes

Get Friday

Get Friday

Get Friday is one of the most well-known life outsourcing companies in the world. They pioneered “the idea of ‘Get the Personal touch of an assistant along with access to a pool of expertise' into the market that makes virtual assistance dependable and so scalable,” while “working round the clock 24/7″ catering ” to busy individuals and small businesses in 30 odd countries across different time zones.”

In that guise, Get Friday is sponsoring the grand prize with a block of 20 hours of outsourcing time, a US$200 value.

In other words, the grand prize winner will have the services of Get Friday's virtual assistants for 20 hours. You could outsource your job search to Get Friday and/or use them for other time-saving services. To my knowledge, this is the first time such a prize has ever been offered in a contest about job search.

This prize comes with one small condition: after using the 20 hours, the winner must blog about their experience so we can all hear how the outsourced job search went.

Gary Vaynerchuk

Crush It! Why Now is the Time to Cash in on your PassionIn the past few years, Gary Vaynerchuk has become one of the most famous Web personalities on the strength of his personal branding skills and his video blog about wine, Wine Library TV.

And you're thinking “great, but what does that have to do with job search?”

Gary will soon be releasing his first book, entitled Crush It! Why Now is the Time to Cash in on your Passion and already available for pre-sale. In the book, Gary explains the secrets of his success in growing his family business to a multi-multi-million dollar venture while boosting his personal brand of being the enjoyable, inspiring and, he thinks most importantly, passionate guy that he is.

Even if you have no intentions of starting a business, the personal branding lessons alone will make this book valuable to anyone, especially job seekers.

The grand prize winner of the contest will win 15 minutes of telephone time with Gary and a Crush It! wristband.

The second through fourth place winners will take home a Crush It! prize pack including a copy of the book and a Crush It! wristband.

Dan Schawbel

Personal Branding Magazine

My friend Dan Schawbel is the personal branding expert who created the Personal Branding Blog – one of the biggest career-oriented blogs in the world and where I blog on Fridays – and more recently authored Me 2.0. Before writing his book, Dan also created the Personal Branding Magazine, a paid Internet quarterly with articles from some of the movers and shakers in personal branding and career success.

Dan is sponsoring the contest with 5 free copies of the next issue of Personal Branding Magazine, due in August 2009.
