Interesting group of logos ⊠I use the same concept â finding industry icons before I start a logo / brand project.
But I was surprised that you finished with an advertisement. Rather hard sell, eh?
Most of those online creative sites do not respect the design community. Read this article:

Peggy- thatâs a great article by Jacob Cass, a rare almost-rant. Thanks for bringing it up.
Spec work, or âfree workâ is almost never a good idea as a career mainstay but it can be a very useful tactic for new designers looking for experience, or for any designer looking to test new ideas with feedback from real people who are also potential clients.
Good or bad, I donât think spec work is going away any time soon. There are always designers who will do whatever it takes to undercut the competition.
However, with designers like Jacob Cass being successful at building their personal brands online, they seem to be attracting clients directly more than designers â especially young designers â were able to do in the past.
