How can we Africans far away in Ghana take part in person in such open fair. How can job market also provide immigration assistance for us to also secure jobs in the job market in education, hospitality, engineering etc to also contribute our quota to raise the fortunes of the job market.
The reason why iam saying this is not about the benefits ,salaries or anything but to the developing world the chance to use our talents to show to the world we also have the expertise to do something to help manage the global recession if given the opportunity.
I've added the list of companies coming to the Mercaz Job Fair on Feb. 10 http://tr.im/MvU9

After the fair report:
Most presenters at the fair were a little surprised at the layout. Normally, job fairs take place in large halls where people walk from table to table. In this case, the fair was split across 5+ classrooms on 2 different floors. The JobMob table was on the 2nd floor and my impression was that many job seekers never came upstairs. I only spoke with 70-80 people at the event, and I’d be surprised if less than 250 came.
Everyone I asked there had a positive view of the fair itself. I didn’t hear anyone mention the speakers but otherwise people did find the visit was worth it. Don’t forget – a job fair is more than just a place to apply for jobs.
Most of the people I spoke with were recent olim or people thinking of aliya.
