
The certified final results of the 2007 Jewish and Israeli Blog Awards were released early this morning Israel time with the announcement that we’ve won the Bronze Virtuette ( = virtual statuette. Ok, maybe not…) in the Best New Blog category. This is a terrific result for a blog launched officially just 2 months ago today. Thank you and thank yourself!

As the 2007 JIBs wind down, I just voted in almost all the categories where JobMob was someone else’s problem.
I tried to choose the blogs that I thought were best in their class based on content, design, and interaction with readers among other things, but not whether I agreed with the blog’s agenda. In other words, you shouldn’t consider my vote an endorsement of a blog’s message.

Halfway through the voting in the final round of the 2007 JIB Awards, we got a nasty surprise this morning. Overnight, JobMob lost over 30 votes in the Best New category, consequently dropping from 2nd place to the 4th slot.
