During this time, we will:
- Review best practices for preparing for interviews (including virtual)
- Learn to deconstruct what interviewers are really asking/looking for in your responses
- Learn how to craft concise and thorough answers to the most common types of interview questions .
What to bring:
- We encourage you to prepare you questions about anything interview related in advance. (i.e. How do I explain my transition into the private sector? How to I explain why I left my previous role? How do I bring up my salary needs?)
About the facilitator:
Ana Wolfowicz is the Director of Career Strategy and Coaching at WorkMonger, and an Executive Recruitment consultant to Education organizations across the country. She specializes in coaching mission-driven professionals at all stages of their careers, from entry level to executive, in the areas of job searching, LinkedIn, resume writing, cover letters, interviewing skills, and career exploration.
Ana launched her career in education as a 2008 Teach For America Houston corps member, and has dedicated her career to recruiting and hiring top talent who add value and close gaps – first in classrooms across the country through her work as a Recruitment Director with Teach For America, followed by roles supporting senior leaders with recruiting and hiring at KIPP and YES Prep Public Schools. Ana has sourced, cultivated, reviewed, and interviewed thousands of candidates for high-impact roles. In addition to her role at WorkMonger, Ana serves as a coaching partner at The Broad Center for the Management of Schools. Ana is a proud alumna of the University of Texas at Austin, where she double majored in History and American Studies.
