About this event

Join Lavern Smith, Co-Founder of JMC Productions, on the 4th Tuesday of each month from 7PM – 8PM for a resume and interview workshop. These workshops are open to all, but will focus on the needs and experiences of artists and performers. The purpose of The Temporary Gig is to help artists and performers secure an non- during this pandemic and beyond.

What should you expect to learn?

  • Resume formatting
  • Resume content creation and updates
  • Interview attire and etiquette
  • Interview format and question types

Meet Lavern Smith

Lavern Smith, a co-founder of JMC Productions, received her business management degree from Howard University and has worked with numerous firms and corporations, including Deloitte, Kaiser Permanente, Cardinal Health, and Capgemini. She has more than 5 years of experience with resume editing and interview preparation, and has supported several companies with recruiting.
