Small group workshop to share Q&A in a networking atmosphere. Active participation by sharing the screen, video and audio will be required.

About this Event

Do you want to ask your burning career questions to a network of professionals? Want to transition to a new career? Do you need to update your resume/LinkedIn (but you don't know how)? Has the job-search changed since the last time you searched? Join us for this highly interactive session limited to a small group of participants where we will gather to answer your questions helping you navigate through the week's topic! In a networking atmosphere, participants share their screens to show off their resume or LinkedIn profile and practice interviewing to get feedback from the NYPL career coaches and the whole group. This event is driven by participants' questions and the members of the group are encouraged to share their own job search advice with their ""classmates"". This event will take place over Google Meet. If you are not familiar with Google Meet before you join the session please take the Google Meet course on nypl.org/LYNDA Database. We recommend that you participate in all three sessions to receive the greatest benefit, but you can also mix and match the sessions to meet your needs..   Please RSVP as soon as you can because the space is limited.   Week 1: Resumes, Tuesday, September 15, 10-11 AM Week 2: LinkedIn, Tuesday, September 22, 10-11 AM Week 3: Interviewing, Tuesday, September 29, 10 - 11 AM  
The session will be led by NYPL Career Coach, Jessica Rodriguez, and supported by other Career Services team members.
