Optimising your use of LinkedIn for job search (Chiltern Branch HR Job Seekers Group)

Guest Speaker: Sarah Burgess, Career Coach and LinkedIn Specialist

Sarah has been a career coach for 18 years, prior to that she worked within L&D in financial services.

She works with a very wide range of clients and her focus is helping people move forward with their career.

In this session, Sarah will be spending time talking and demonstrating some of the features of LinkedIn which will help you market yourself whilst job hunting.

Sarah spends significant amounts of time on LinkedIn as she regularly works with clients to help them utilise it in an effective way which suits them.

In terms of qualifications, Sarah has her FCIPD, a Post Graduate Diploma in L&D, is qualified in a wide range of psychometrics, Prince 2 qualified, a life coach, and is just awaiting results of her career counselling accreditation (she decided after 18 years of doing this work to formalise it with a qualification!).

The Chiltern Branch Jobseekers' Group is open to anyone living within the Chiltern Branch area who's currently seeking a role in HR. For now we'll meet on Zoom, but hopefully soon we'll be able to get together in person . There will be plenty of opportunities to ask questions, brainstorm and network wit other Jobseeker SIG members during the session.
