About this event
Course description:
Jobs are posted everywhere – employee websites, their partner websites, consulting
companies’ websites, job boards. The same job may be posted at multiple sites. Moreover,
job postings don’t offer updates – how many are interested, applied, or even shortlisted.
From a hiring manager’s perspective, how does one sort through hundreds of applications
and find the best? They don’t have time to select the right candidate.
Job search becomes a full-time job! Pundits will tell you – be smart. Be ahead of the curve…
The key question is HOW?
Our program takes two of the best tools available to hunt for jobs. LinkedIn is the gold
standard in professional networking. Indeed.com is perceived as the best tool from a hiring
manager’s perspective. We will teach you the skills needed to master these two tools for
your next job search. Our class includes optimum theory and lots of hands-on job search
exercises to help you navigate these tools for your job search.
What will you learn?
Students will learn the techniques to search jobs on two major job platforms. Hand-on
exercises will help students to apply for jobs. Please come prepared with your resume for
these classes.
