Join the NEU & Unite WULF projects for a FREE workshop on using Microsoft Word to create a professional looking letter of application.

About this Event

Using MS Word to Create an Application Letter

In this workshop, we’ll look at how to correctly format, structure, edit and save your application letter using Microsoft Word.

You can use Microsoft Word online or on your desktop computer for this workshop (NB – the free online version of MS Word had limited functionality). If you don't already have an account with Microsoft (e.g. Hotmail) sign up for your free account here… Microsoft Sign Up

You may already have some familiarity with Word and its functions or be a real beginner, but you’ll be keen to make your application letter look well formatted and professional.

In the workshop we’ll cover everything from visual and aesthetics to appropriate fonts, paragraphing and layout.

By the end of the session you should feel more confident in using MS Word to help you produce a professional-looking letter of application.

All abilities welcome and questions encouraged.

Ideally, participants will already have a basic cover letter that they can use and work with during the session.
