KEEP TRACK MASTERCLASS – Interviews: prep like a boss! Monday 8th August
Who is it for? Any BCU Viscom job seekers striving for interview success. If you are struggling to get into the industry, the Keep Track team are here to support you.
Where is the event taking place? It will be a hybrid event, so you have the choice of coming in to BCU Parkside – room P419 or get involved online.
Why else should I attend? To remember who you are and why you completed your degree! You will be given new resources to help you prep like a boss, and you can have the chance to win a prize for the best question!
What topics does the masterclass cover?10.00am – 12.15pm
• Portfolio advice, CV checklist followed by a talk which covers:
• Job Expectations
• Being honest (is the job right fit for you?)
• Combatting nerves
• What to expect in the interview
• Preparation advice (questions)
• Alumni case studies with Niyran Gill and Farah Girach
• Language + Tone + STAR techniques (including an interactive task with MA student Alice Nguyen)
• Questions they will ask at the interview/ you can ask
• Tricky topics (salary)
• What to do after the interview
• Hidden jobs
• Q+A and Resources
