International Student Employment Skills Workshops (Online)

This online program is designed to engage participants:

To understand:

• Cross cultural skills in the classroom, workplace and job market.
• Effective use of job platforms like Seek.com and professional networking platforms like LinkedIn.
• Case studies from university classrooms, assessment centres and job interviews.
• Tips and tricks to polish resumes to meet local expectations.

To discover:

• Learning through practicing key verbal communication skills with others on the program in safe spaces designed for learning and development.

To design:

• A personal job seeker project plan.
• An actionable LinkedIn strategy.

Note: This workshop will be delivered through two 2.5 hour online sessions (May 16 and May 23 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm). Please register to attend both online sessions. A zoom link will sent out to participants prior to the workshop date.
