About this Event
This online program is designed to engage participants:
To understand:
- Cross cultural skills in the classroom, workplace and job market.
- Effective use of job platforms like Seek.com and professional networking platforms like LinkedIn.
- Case studies from university classrooms, assessment centres and job interviews.
- Tips and tricks to polish resumes to meet local expectations.
To discover:
- Learning through practicing key verbal communication skills with others on the program in safe spaces designed for learning and development.
To design:
- A personal job seeker project plan.
- An actionable LinkedIn strategy.
Note: This workshop will be delivered through two 2.5 hour online sessions (May 16 and May 23 from 1:00pm to 3:30pm). Please register to attend both online sessions. A zoom link will sent out to participants prior to the workshop date.
