Cover Letters Workshop
About this Event
Cover Letters – Are they necessary?
Do Hiring Managers read them – it depends.
Learn how to write one in 45 minutes or less.
In this workshop, we’ll discuss ways to make your cover letters stand out during your job search and get the Hiring Manager’s attention.
Let’s talk strategy and streamline your message. Learn how to set the hook for the reader and get to the point rather than saying “Attached please find my resume for your zzzZZZ…”
The first version you draft is the “won” to build on.
This training is offered by Educational Alliance's Counselors, who are former Human Resources professionals, is free as part of our Employment and Career Services Program.
We offer job seekers the opportunity to meet one-on-one with a Counselor to discuss their job search along with creating or strengthening your resume, preparing for interviews, learning networking techniques and planning your job search.
To schedule a free 1:1 call with a Counselor to discuss your job search, email us at EmploymentServices@edalliance.org
All services are free of charge and confidential.
