This is the first of two careers webinars by Bitesize HR.
I'm Lucy and I have worked in HR for the last 15 years supporting business managers with their recruitment. For the last 7 years I have recruited for my own HR team. I've spent hundreds of hours interviewing over my career across a huge range of industries. Through these webinars I share my experience on what you should and definitely shouldn't do to get an interview and then to get that job offer.
This session focuses on:
- Your CV – what it should look like, how it should be written, what to include, remove and rewrite.
- Where to look for jobs and what types of roles to consider as part of your long-term plan.
- Interview preparation – all the things you should do before you are in front of your potential new employer. How you can make a good impression and increase your chance of getting an offer.
All of the advice I'll be giving is based on my first-hand experience of recruiting people over the years. I'll be sharing common mistakes made by candidates that you can avoid to get that interview.
Live Q&A – I'll use the final segment of the webinar to answer your questions that you submit during the session. This is a great way to get specific advice on your individual circumstances.
