Chairman's Message
I am thrilled to serve as Chairman of the 2021 Ivy AKAdemy Celebration. As First Vice President of Gamma Theta Omega Chapter I also serve as the Program Chairman responsible for overseeing the implementation of all International and local Chapter programs with excellence. Gamma Theta Omega, Inc. in collaboration with the members of the Gamma Theta Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated is proud to host this year's Ivy AKAdemy Community Celebration, virtually. The pandemic environment was no match for us!!! The show must go on. This year's theme is, “Growing with Google. . . A Virtual Village”. The intent of the event is to highlight the organization's service programs while also supporting community growth. Our International partnership with Google is allowing us to help close the digital divide by presenting relevant Google classes and workshops through out the year. Today we are introducing two workshops offered through our Grow with Google partnership. The workshops we will present through out the year will be relevant to the times we live in today. Please be sure to attend the workshops being offered and the others to come.
We appreciate you participating in this historical event – – yes, historical because we've never hosted this event in a virtual environment before! It is the first time ever and you've contributed to its' success by actively participating in the comfort of your home in front of your screen with us! Thank you!
