Get great exposure this summer as part of the 5th edition of this ever-growing contest.

No Free LunchIt's that time of year again!

My annual guest blogging contest is back for its 5th edition and as usual, I'm planning for this one to be the biggest deal yet.

(If you're interested in participating in the contest but not in being a sponsor, start working on your entry now so that it's eligible for the early bird prize(s). See the bottom of this article for a peek at when the contest will open.)

Sponsors: you will get great exposure and other benefits

In terms of exposure, last year's contest generated over 170,000 visits and over 330,000 pageviews here on JobMob.

And JobMob traffic and readership has continued to rise this year.

Participants, the people vying for your sponsored prizes, were mainly bloggers, marketers/PR people, job search experts and job seekers sharing their lessons & experiences.

When it comes to benefits, I really try to give you as much value as possible, hopefully much more than the value of your sponsorship.

This year again, there will be 3 levels of sponsorship: Gold, Silver and Bronze.

Gold sponsorship

To earn the benefits for the Gold level, a sponsor should contribute one of the following:

  • More than US$1000 in cash, products or services

2 Gold sponsor slots are available. There are no more Gold sponsor slots available

Each Gold sponsor will be…

  1. Thanked with a dofollowed link AND a small logo on the footer of every guest post participating in the contest. These links will stay on the articles for 1 whole YEAR.
  2. The subject of an approximately 30-min audio podcast, to be released during here on JobMob during the contest, and promoted in major podcast directories.
  3. Profiled in the contest announcement
  4. Mentioned in a special thank you at the end of the contest
  5. Tweeted about during the contest, multiple times
  6. Thanked in the winner announcement

Silver sponsorship

To earn the benefits for the Silver level, a sponsor should contribute one of the following:

  • from US$500-$1000 in cash, products or services

5 Silver sponsor slots are available. There are no more Silver sponsor slots available

Silver sponsors will be…

  1. Thanked with a dofollowed link on the footer of 5 guest posts participating in the contest. These links will stay on the articles for 1 year, OR…
  2. The subject of an approximately 30-min audio podcast, to be released during here on JobMob during the contest, and promoted in major podcast directories.
  3. Profiled in the contest announcement
  4. Mentioned in a special thank you at the end of the contest
  5. Tweeted about during the contest, multiple times
  6. Thanked in the winner announcement

Each Silver sponsor will get to choose if they prefer the links or the podcast as a benefit.

Bronze sponsorship

To earn the benefits for the Bronze level, a sponsor must contribute up to US$500 in cash, products or services.

There's no limit to the number of Bronze sponsors.

Bronze sponsors will be…

  • Profiled in the contest announcement
  • Mentioned in a special thank you at the end of the contest
  • Tweeted about during the contest, multiple times
  • Thanked in the winner announcement

All mentions will stay in the JobMob archive forever.

Warning: Only Honest Sponsors Wanted

2 years ago, my top sponsor, GetFriday, never awarded their promised prize of a US$200 credit for outsourcing services. Once the contest had ended and a recipient was chosen, they suddenly stopped replying to my emails or returning my telephone calls. As a result, I'm more careful about who I accept as sponsors.

How to sponsor: Easy

Use our Contact Form. Choose the subject ‘I have a suggestion', mention that you'd like to be a sponsor and we'll reply. To get full benefits for your sponsorship level, contact us ASAP or you might miss the official contest announcement, which will appear on JobMob July 18th.

Looking forward to hearing from you!
