About the Programme/Event
Learn how to articulate your competencies through role-playing, thereby creating a win-win situation for yourself and your potential employer.
Objectives:

- Managing expectations of self and interviewer
- Knowing what to say in the negotiation
- Gaining confidence by role play and feedback

About the Speaker
André Cheong has more than 20 years’ experience in managing and conducting a regional recruitment business in Asia. Since 2000, André has provided successful training/coaching consultancy and has conducted successful employability workshops for hundreds of job seekers and employers for private and public agencies. He is also a regular public speaker at major public employability events. André holds postgraduate degrees from the UK and had graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from Australia. He also earned a Professional Diploma in Training & Development (Gold Medal) and is WSQ ACTA certified. In addition, he also obtained Professional Diplomas in Human Resources (HRM/HRD) & Specialist Diplomas in Human Capital Management (HRM/HRD). André is a certified administrator of the Extended DISC® Profiling Programme and is trained as a Project Management Professional (PMP®) as well as a Masteries Coach®.
About the Series
Get Professional is back in full swing, with fresh pickings to tickle your learning buds. Season 4 spotlights important skills to enhance employability (interview and resume writing) and cope in the new normal (managing change and building resiliency), with exciting new facets on writing and presentation skills. From general business writing to corporate storytelling, the series focuses on vital skills to improve workplace productivity and efficiency.
