Giuliana is an HR professional with 15 years of experience in the areas of Recruitment & HR. She started her career in the staffing solutions industry and has worked for the hospitality, mining, infrastructure, and engineering consulting industries. Currently, she is working as a Recruitment Business Partner for Dillon Consulting, a Canadian and employee-owned engineering company. Giuliana is passionate about mentoring new immigrants, as she was at one point, a new immigrant herself. She has volunteered with the Immigrant Employment Council of BC (IECBC) as a Career Mentor, and she is also a member of their Employer Advisory Group.

Manu is a senior leader having worked in the information technology and services industry, financial services and telcom for the past 25 years. He has lived across Canada, the US, China, India and France. He has a passion for technology and people and using business as a force for good.

After 10 years with Traction on Demand, Manu is part of a new company called Uncommon Purpose, which spawned from Traction Ventures. UP is more than a tech company, more than an incubator and more than a ventures firm. Uncommon Purpose generates ideas that can be turned into dynamic business solutions.

Mandy leads the HR division for the Mann Group of Companies which includes LifeTec Construction Group and Mann Civil Services. She brings a decade of HR management experience to the Group from her previous role as HR Manager at Stormtech Performance Apparel, a 45-year outerwear apparel company with distribution in over 50 countries worldwide. There, she led all HR Operations and Strategic Planning and Execution, as well as her previous role as a Senior HR Generalist at Ingram Micro, a global technology and supply chain services provider with revenues of $50 billion USD and 35,000 employees.

Mandy has been instrumental in Mann Group’s HR strategy and recruiting efforts, helping to build a team of high performing and experienced real estate professionals, and establishing the Group as a significant developer in BC.

Cindy began her career in the hospitality industry over 20 years ago working at the Hyatt Regency Vancouver as a Hotel Operator. She progressed through various roles in Hotel Operations and Human Resources at the Westin and Hilton in Whistler, BC. In 2013, Cindy relocated to Toronto, Ontario to work for the Fairmont Corporate Office, now Accor, North & Central America Regional Office as a Human Resources Manager. In 2014, Cindy transferred to the Fairmont Royal York where she worked as the Training and Communications Manager and was subsequently promoted to Assistant Director of Human Resources.

In April 2017, she returned to the Accor Corporate Office when she was appointed Director, Corporate Talent & Culture, North & Central America where Cindy managed the Corporate Human Resources function for corporate employees based in Toronto, as well as a home office employees based across the United States and Canada. Cindy holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English literature and language from UBC and holds the CPHR Professional designation in Human Resources.
