Session B (Fridays)- Applying for a job

This session is all about learning how to apply for a job. Creating a great CV is just the beginning. You will learn key aspects about how to create a high quality CV that represents you and your skills appropriately. You will also learn the content that should be avoided in the UK when creating a CV and sending emails and letters to employers.

Application forms and letters are key opportunities to present your suitability to an employer. You will learn how to consolidate information and present it professionally and succinctly.

We will investigate and discuss transferable skills and how you present them in your applications, CV, personal statement and cover letters.
