About this event
Qualification fraud is a major challenge for UK businesses with people fabricating qualifications and results on CVs and even fake certificates.
Fraud against businesses by employees is on the rise, with the challenges of the ‘new normal’ like greater unemployment and financial pressures, this means that now more than ever businesses need to be on their guard against insider fraud.
Join us to learn how to identify fake qualifications and better protect your business against the emerging risks of the insider threat.
Our fantastic speakers for this webinar are Chris Rea, Ed Hall, and Keith Rosser.
Chris Rea leads on Jisc’s degree verification and qualification fraud services. Hedd is UK higher education’s official degree verification system and the qualification fraud reporting service has helped shut down more than 80 bogus institutions and fake qualification providers.
Ed Hall is CEO of Qualification Check which he founded in 2009.
Having started his career in the financial services and recruitment industries he saw first-hand the importance and difficulty of verifying individuals' credentials as part of the employment process.
The Qualification Check platform covers over 40,000 institutions in more than 195 countries allowing organisations to simply and quickly verify qualifications and licenses anywhere in the world.
