Jobs Hub: Employer Recruitment Incentives/Funding

Join us for a session with the Skills & Employment Initiatives Team at Perth & Kinross Council and Developing Young Workforce Perth and Kinross to hear how you can support potential future employees and inspire them in their career choices. You could be the catalyst for a new-start business or ignite a spark of passion in a particular sector and help shape someone's future.

We will be discussing Employer Recruitment Incentives/Funding that your business may be eligible for.

The areas that he will cover include:

– The Young Person’s Guarantee ERI (YPG)

Through this scheme, employers could receive a financial contribution to provide young people aged 16 – 24 with meaningful and sustainable job opportunities.

– The No One Left Behind ERI (NOLB)

The aim of No One Left Behind is to encourage employers to recruit individuals aged 25+ with additional barriers to employment.

– Rural Employment Incentive (REI)

The REI targets support at unemployed young people aged between 16 – 29 who live in rural locations, whilst assisting rurally based businesses to overcome common recruitment issues.

– And the Parental Employment Support Fund (Elev8 Grant, part of the Futures for Families project)

This is part funded by the Scottish Government under the Parental Employment Support Fund. The Employer Engagement Advisor will support eligible parents in finding their perfect work-life balance through tailored advice and funded training grants, devised to help individuals progress in employment and further their careers.
