A resume may get you the interview, but the interview gets you the job. Join us for interview tips, best practices, and pre-recorded examples of how to answer tough questions. We will share what we have learned from our business clients regarding why they choose to hire or reject the candidates they interview. Learn about the different types of interview formats and questions and how to best respond. We will share our “Top 10” interview mistakes and “Top 10” easy-to-implement techniques for success.

Following the presentation, you’ll have an opportunity to practice your pitch in a supportive, small group work environment. This is your chance to practice your “30-second elevator speech” and receive honest, constructive feedback in a super low-pressure, safe environment. Not ready to interview? That’s OK too. We still want to meet you, learn about your skills and experiences, and answer your job search questions.

This event includes a 45-min webinar and 15 min of Q&A. For DC or Boston metro area jobs seekers, we have allowed for an additional 15 min of networking time in small breakout rooms moderated by our staff. We encourage DC and Boston metro job seekers to stay for breakout time so we can get to know you and for you to connect with fellow job seekers!
