Do you want to build your confidence in writing stand-out resumes?
If you haven't applied for a job in some time, or are not getting the desired responses from employers, you might be feeling apprehensive about how to compete with other job seekers in a soft job market.
This workshop will guide you through the process of creating or updating your resumé during your job search to address the requirements of a particular job.
This includes:
- What to look for when reading and evaluating job advertisements
- How to put your best foot forward when marketing yourself to a prospective employer
- How to identify your transferable skills, even when changing fields
- How to tailor and check your resume for relevancy
- How to write a winning cover letter.
The workshop is delivered ONLINE by our Skills and Jobs Centre staff – it is live and you will be able to ask questions.
You will be sent a Zoom Webinar invitation 48 hours beforehand with easy to follow instructions.
