Want a career in the NHS? 16-30 years old? We'll help you access NHS employment opportunities and increase your chances of getting a job!

About this event

Next Gen Health and Care is providing free employment support to anyone aged 16-30 to access careers in the NHS and we want you to be one of them!

We want to match you with a free NHS mentor and get you a job in Health or Social Care*.

Our NHS mentors will give you career guidance, review your progress, and help with application documents. They'll also be there to guide you through the application process and offer personal feedback and support.

Your NHS Mentor will:

  • help you find the right job role and career path for you
  • help you make your CV bespoke to the job you're applying for
  • run interview practice with you so that you're ready for the real thing
  • help you develop the soft skills that employers are looking for

 

*Eligibility:

  • You must be 16-30 years old
  • You must not be in work or education for more than 16 hours per week
  • You must be eligible to work in the UK without needing visa sponsorship
  • You do not need any formal qualifications or work experience
