About the Programme/Event
Are you getting positive responses from the jobs you have applied? Do you know what type of jobs will be suitable for you? How much do you know about yourself? What are your strengths and weaknesses? Are your able to identify your skills and transferrable skills?
It is important to know what is your target/ideal job(s), the roles and responsibilities, and the required skills to do those tasks. Recognise the skills you have acquired, in your years of working, which will be a combination of hard and soft skills, inclusive your transferrable skills.
Learn how to identify your capabilities, and develop a strategy to build relevant skills towards that target job that best meet your strengths. If necessary, explore various learning options available to bridge your skills gap. This is crucial especially for experience workers thinking of making a mid-career switch. The road to success is in finding a job that you enjoy doing, and open opportunities for you to perform well.
