David- actually, most of the cool gadgets listed are real products and not just designer concepts. In fact, according to the designer’s website, the Pacman stapler should be available in a store at Azrieli in Tel Aviv.

Melissa- I hadn’t thought about the holiday shopping aspect at all. This was an idea I’d had a while ago, and the group writing project made it a good time to get it done.
